Pharmaceutical Company Protects Showcase HQ With Window Film
The Situation
Our client was a major pharmaceutical company whose HQ was located in an impressive glass-fronted building. The structure of their premises presented our client with a couple of dilemmas. The first was an environmental one – in the summer, their building could get very hot and air conditioning use (and cost) was phenomenal. The second factor was that the location of the premises and its size could make it vulnerable to terrorist attack.
The Solution
We fitted specialist window film that was both solar reflective (reducing heat in summer) and attack resistant. This ensured that, in the case of a bomb, explosion or similar event, the glass would not shatter and injure those around it.
