Security system and safe to meet insurance criteria

The Situation

Our client was a wealthy individual who moved to a new house and needed to find a security solution which would meet their insurer’s criteria. In particular, they had a number of high value items that needed protecting in a safe. The safe had to be secure so that any burglar would find it difficult to remove from the property.

The Solution

We surveyed the property to identify its weak points and the existing security measures in safe. We were then able to recommend a safe that would meet our client’s insurance company requirements. We also added a ‘safe limpet’ to give it extra protection and secured the safe in a cupboard which was linked to the main intruder alarm system. These numerous layers of security would take valuable time away from a burglar and make the process of stealing more difficult. This particular security system also had a link to the Police.

The Results

Our client was able to demonstrate to their insurance company that they had undertaken the necessary precautions and criteria. This ensured their policy would give them full protection. The security measures have also given our client additional reassurance and have deterred thefts and intruders.
