Security Service Engineer – Full Time

Absolute Security Systems a privately owned and growing security systems company head officed in Godalming, Surrey. Founded over 30 years ago, it protects thousands of unique locations, offering a full range of security solutions and peace of mind to our customers.

The company surveys, designs, installs, takes on and maintains a range of industry leading security systems to domestic, commercial and institutional customers (school and hospitals).
The company is run and owned by Sandy Busek and James Lewis who have been at the forefront of industry innovation for many years working directly with clients large and small. The company currently employs 30 full- time staff and this is an exciting time to join a dynamic and growing team, working across the South East of
England.

We are looking to recruit a number of experienced Security Service Engineers.

An experienced candidate will have proven knowledge of a range of systems, including
Intruder Alarms, Fire, CCTV, Access Control and Door Entry Systems.

Responsibilities (subject to experience level):

• Service and maintain a variety of security systems including Fire and intruder alarms, CCTV, Access Control and Door Entry systems
• Ability to solve practical problems when attending call outs to detect and repair faults
• Complete all company paperwork in a timely manner and to the specified standards Adhere to health and safety requirements
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team Good understanding on NSI codes of practiceBe part of a call out rota providing a 24-hour, 7-day a week engineering support service to specified sites All applicants will be security screened for a 10 year period as per BS7858 2019
• 8 hour shift

Essential Skills and Requirements (subject to experience level):

• Systems Engineer: 2 years (required)
• Knowledge of Texecom, Avigilon, Paxton, HikVision, Galaxy, BPT preferred Networking and IP knowledge preferred*
• Drivers Licence (required) Can do attitude is essential
